Utica College Pioneer Radio started in the mid-1960s and has worked under the call letters of WRUC-FM, WRNS-FM, and WEDJ-FM. In October of 1977, our station changed into its present call letters, WPNR-FM, to better speak to the group we serve the Utica College PioNeeRs. In the start of the new century, our pillar, Douglas Croft, started his excursion as an understudy, and now fills in as the workforce counselor for the station. Under this new administration came a making of another sound and environment that mirrors the soul of progress inside our university group and the city of Utica.
